Needless to say, the sharks will be "short-staffed' this evening but the Blues
had best not take their foot off the gas. This is a rather odd series for me as
neither team is a personal favourite, thus I really don't care which team wins
although I cheer/hope for the blues "not-to-lose".
As I've mentioned before, looking forward to good solid hockey sans any "bull-crap calls".

I think after tonight - it'll be a Blues/Broons final.
Hey Flat - a Binnington/Rask showdown - maybe? - the newcomer
vs. the established pro - something I'm sure you'd appreciate.

Pathetic performance by SJ so far. How many times must you be burned by a man alone at the top of the paint before someone thinks "hmm maybe I should clear the crease"?


I think the hooking at half the 2nd was BS but SJ has gotten enough breaks.

The only two teams I got right in the first round so I picked them to go to the finals.
Just 4 more wins to go.

The Black & Blue Cup final begins Monday!

Looks like the finals will be a re-match of the 1970 series.

As I recall, that series worked out pretty well for Boston :D

Sad that Jumbo Joe isn't going to see a cup this year. This may be it for him unless maybe he'll pull a Bourgue?

I confess to feeling good watching Ray hoist the Cup.

I had the Blues and Canes in the finals--still sticking with the Blues to win it all over the Gooniuns.

By winning last night the Blues bought a little extra rest time . Bruins are well rested . Game one will be about nerves , momentum and sticking with what got you here . Staying out of the penalty box is huge . And finally goal tending . I am hoping for a great series .

The Blues are probably studying game films today. The things that worked against SJ will not work against Da Broons.
