Yes!! I have watched a few of their videos, especially the ones with "Grandpa's Jeep", and they are great.

Do the off-roaders at moab modify their stock exhaust to make it really loud and obnoxious in a desperate "look at me" attention grab (and to increase their hp from 60 to 61), while telling the whole world to go **** off because they only care about themselves and don't give a crap about anyone else's right to reasonable peace and quiet?

Now THAT is stereotyping.

You missed the part where they turn their sound system up to full volume so they can hear it over the open headers.

Years ago I was out with a group and one of my buddies has a nice CJ for playing billy goat. We were watching a couple very experienced and very well build Jeeps go up a mountain and another one of my buddies who knew nothing of Jeeps at the time said "Let go with those guys". The CJ owner looked at him like he was an idiot for asking. So yes, some people do see something and assume they can do it as well.

To qualify the CJ owner: He has built and run lots of off road equipment including SCORE/CORR. He was also an advisor for Subaru for their TV commercials during the off road portion. Not that they listened, that's another story. Anyway, he is certainly no stranger to the off road experience and knew the limitations of his CJ, as well built as it was.
