I just put my hands on my neighbor.
Def con 10, i almost unleashed it on him. He drinks, and likes to think he is the dog whisperer. He is a know it all .
He grabs my dog by the leash, and commands him to sit . My dog does not sit, so he grabs him by the leash and lifts him up to standing position by his collar. My dog is gasping and choking . He keeps saying " sit sit" I tried to push his hands back down to give the dog some relief. He yanks the dog back and pulls even harder. This is a 2 year old 95 pound meathead chocolate lab . Big dumb friendly oaf. Still full of piss and vinegar . I grabbed his hands with my left , hand, and shoved him down with my right arm. I told him " Don't you ever put your ****ing hands on my dog like that again " I cocked back to swing but did not . There was no confrontation, neither my dog nor I did anything wrong. I had my dog on a leash, 100% under my control. I did not ask for my dog to be trained. I was not in distress . He reeks of a brewery. I am not a tough guy, and I don't like to fight. Been probably 30 years since I have thrown any fists. That being said, I really really wanted it . This is the first time I have felt those feelings in a long time. I was just protecting a member of my family . |
I love you man! :D
|
Good job. I would have done the same thing. Only added some profanity.
|
Man, what a knucklehead. Amazing self-restraint, Fred!
|
Good to hear you did and glad you didn't. Protect your pal and stay cool that is. I know this type of guy. Low life. Entitled.
|
I feel ya Fred, good on you man.
|
I'm glad your encounter ended without either of you getting hurt.
This was not what I was hoping for in this thread given the title... :) |
dude, I'm old and grey, and I want you in my corner. Don't f with my dog or my horse.

You showed good restraint. I might have tried to get him to swing at me. You don't treat dogs that way and you damn sure don't treat other guys' dogs that way. He should have a real sore face right now.
|
If you accidently back over him with your car, I understand.

Good job protecting your buddy.
Where were this at? |
I was cheering, alright Freddy out loud thinking it has something to do with a young, long legged slender young lady neighbor. Dang ya dude.:D
I am glad you didn't do anything stupid and the dog wasn't hurt. |
I was thinking he was a ‘she’ and this was the old neighbor you posted about a few months back...
Glad it wasn’t. Again, good you showed restraint. |
I see me and look had the same idea...
|
I wouldn't be surprised if neighbor came over with some beers for you. He probably thinks "Yeah, Fred's alright, stands up for his dawg, not afraid to show his emotions and his fists - my kinda guy."
My dogs and I usually end up in a bit of a scuffle once every 12 months. If it's not the dogs it's me LOL |

His name is Zeek. He has mashed potatoes for brains. A big puppy . He is a kind and gentle dog, and is one of the family . This whole thing started out innocent. I was walking down my driveway looking at all the flooding , when the neighbor pulled in . He came over to talk , and had to be the tough guy dog whisperer. I would never treat my own dog that way, and sure as hell won't stand by and watch someone else do it . |
