This was mine. I put a 2.5" Toytec lift on it, BFG KO2's and Infab side rails.
 I ordered some aluminum badges from here, good quality... 5th Gen 4Runner – BH3D Printing  And milled shift knobs from here...... https://www.ellisprecision.ca/pages/4runner  Otherwise it was pretty stock when I sold it. Moved into an F150 with 3.5 Ecoboost, a lot more pickup and power but I do miss the 4Runner.

It may be the greatest vehicle on the planet, but Toyota and Lexus are working HARD to make a vehicle that makes the Pontiac Aztec downright sexy in comparison. The grill on that think is horrendous.
Enjoy it while driving, from behind the steering wheel you can't see how horrible it looks.

Nice trucks all!
As for ugly, I adore its homely style. True I hated it when the 5th Gen came out, but it has really grown on me.
