1968, got drafted but they didn't want me due to too many broken bones, thank you ski racing. Moved to Vail,CO into a life of debauchery and no good.
1969, while driving thru the east coast in my MGB stopping for breakfast about 100 miles from Woodstock and someone asked me if I was going to Woodstock. I said, no, I was looking to get away from people, drove straight to Miami for a flight to Jamaica. Late summer finally weakened to drugs and got stoned, boy, that cleaned out the cobwebs. Bought my first property, a one bedroom condo unit in Vail and bought my first Porsche, a 1964 356C coupe. As they say life was good.
