Didn't listen to the audio and don't know how fast they were going at the start but that boat at the top of the screen was going faster!

I hear that having FU money is lots of trouble.

I'd be willing to give that kind of trouble a shot for a while.

Youtube doesn't transfer a description title over in links.
Not sure why its like that.

So there is no way of knowing what the video actually contains without clicking on the link.
(russian virus or super great content)

Talked to a guy with a similar boat 15 years ago. Said fuel consumption was 58 gallons/hr at full tilt.....

Years ago, when they were first getting Riverfest started, one of the guys recorded 132mph on the Mississippi river.

Boats are bad ass, maybe even the baddest ass!

Miami Nassau offshore powerboat race was my first introduction to the thrill of watching motorsport

A couple of years later as a teenager I watched in awe F1 inshore power boats in Nassau harbour

Roll on 10 yrs later and I somehow found in myself during my free time working for the world powerboat governing body helping to manage the F1 inshore world powerboat championship

I was Technical Commissioner for the whole grid of F1 inshore power boats at various world championship races around Europe. Was also writing improved F1 inshore race boat cockpit safety homologation rules.

If I look back now it was a huge amount of responsibility for a 25yr old

Then I got into real F1 and had no spare time for any powerboat racing free time fun
