When I worked for Yankee Motor Company back in 1971-1973 in Schenectady NY, they had a warehouse full of these things and just could not sell them. They were pretty cool, but expensive.

Yankee was the USA importer for OSSA motorcycyles and FullBore boots and other products.

This was before snowbaording, so most ski areas were very wary of anything but skis on their slopes.

I guess it was a good idea whose time never came!

My cousin still has a Yankee dirt bike. I think that he bought it new.

Racer,
Hope this finds you well. If you still have the skibob, would you consider parting with it? Thanks.
Tim
