All Generalizations Are False
We could have fun with this. Logically, since this statement is a generalization, it could not possibly be true. Therefore, it is false. That is....if all generalizations are false, then this generalization is false also. And so, we know with certainty it is false.
But if this statement is undeniably false, then there must be at least one generalization which is true. Right? What generalization is true?

Generally generalizations are true. Or people wouldn't bother generalizing.

87.3291% of statistics are made up on the spot.

Seriously, we generalize because we are human. Otherwise we will be buried in minutia just to get through the day.
In the old days we must be able to generalize predators in order to make fight or flight decisions. |

Good point. If we were absolutely precise about every little thing just telling someone what time it is would be agonizing.

The answer to this question depends on your definition of truth.
As it it relates to statistics, there is always statistical truth and the statistic itself includes exceptions that prove it wrong. Example: generally speaking, asians are smarter than blacks. That is true if we look at the mean IQ on a distribution curve. However, that is false because we can always find a dumb Asian and a smart black that prove the generalization wrong.

Agree, but you shouldn't mix binary and decimal.

PARF is a shining example of confirmation bias.
