There was. Then she moved on and up from Stockbridge to Lennox. The "church" is still there, but it was turned into a museum or something, Guthrie center. Too many people would knock on the door. Arlo bought the place.

One of the Field Engineers I worked with hung out in Stockbridge with that crowd before Arlo.

The boy's mass was today. Over 1,800 attended. Parents spoke. I wasn't there. I was setting up the food for the memorial reception at their home. About 200, used the yard and porch in addition to the inside. For some reason we own pretty much all the gear for catering, so we were asked to do it.

They decided not to have an independent examination. So we await the official report. No-one I know thinks he jumped.

Some of us were thinking about cameras at the bridges. Self contained, battery + solar power, cellular, transmit 1 frame/sec to a website, capture people as they walk on the bridge approach, don't try to cover the span. Could install on private property adjacent to bridge, with suitably long lens. Because city/state likely won't allow them on the bridges proper. Would save families the pain of not knowing.

Why would anybody about to jump withdraw money from an ATM? Sure doesn't make sense...

I'm not sure about that. There was an Alice's when I stayed in Stockbridge helping the Berkshire Theater Festival in 1971 (or so). There was some kind of breakfast place/diner in the original space (in a small space in a big building as I recall). Alice had moved to a newer building on the edge of town by then. I was never there, but everyone said it was run by the original Alice, but not the original restaurant.

That is strange. Sounds like accident for foul play, not self-inflicted.
