Anybody have a Quicken file password recovery tool?

I found an ancient Quicken file from 2000 on a backup hard drive and I can't remember the password.

Has anyone used one of the password recovery tools to get access to their old Quicken files? Per the websites, it seems as if it is no problem for versions up to 2004, so I am good there, but wary of sending the files out or downloading such a program from random vendors.

Thanks,
Neil

The tough part is finding an old version of Quicken program itself. The data file is just part one of the problem.

You can still download Quicken 2004. Apparently it is required to update an old file from pre 2004 to a newer standard that can be read.
