Where do superman's clothes go?

I must admit, I'm ignorant on this.

When Superman changes clothes, does he have some magic super powerful way of storing the clothes he changed out of?

Or are they just discarded?

If that suit is dry cleaned, isn't it common to have personal labels so that your suit isn't lost?

What keeps his identity secret if anyone can just pick up his clothes and read the tags?

If he compresses them there would have to be some form of alien technology to decompress them wrinkle free and ready to go.

If he's so fast why doesn't he just nip home and change?

Now he doesn't even have a phone booth to change in.

I was a big Superman comic fan as a kid. I had stacks of the 12 cent Superman comics. They all went into the trash when we moved to Hawaii.

As I remember the explanation for his street clothes was he would "super" compress them into a pea size pellet, and tuck them somewhere either under his belt, or on the roof of the phone booth. They did not bother to explain how he uncompressed them, and ironed them back into normal looking clothes.

The never explained how he got a hair cut, or clipped his fingernails either.

This.
For a dude who can fly it’s not a big deal to compress your suit and stuff it down the front of your shorts.

Exactly why I was a Batman fan, completely believable. He relied on a faithful sidekick and specialized equipment.

You mean like a third nipple in a suit so tight that it would surly show like he was cold ?

As I understand, he was taken from a little pod spacecraft.
The amount of home technology he would have is very limited.
I suppose clothing that survives decompression was one of them.

If a typical business suit and compressed it to the size of a pea I'm not sure it would decompress for me back into a suit.

As the cover of mad that LeakySeal posted illustrates, superman's clothes are just a funny humorous subject.

My wife went to a big software conference. When she returned one of the many bits of swag given out was a small bricked size object. She gave it to me, as it was a t-shirt. Just pull off the plastic wrapper and shake a few times and sure enough a t-shirt that was plenty big enough to fit me. A long way from a suit to a pea, but it was compressed a lot. And really really wrinkled. One trip through the washer and dryer and it was 100% normal.

Why did superman just stand there with bullets bouncing off of him, but duck when the bad guy threw the gun?

I always wondered why those people got all excited when they looked up in the sky. At first they thought it was a bird. Then a plane. Why all the fuss about a bird or a plane?

Herd mentality.

I used to do add content for 3d games long ago.

One thing I would do when traveling is take pictures of dirt so I could use them as texture references..

You'd be amazed at how many people come over to try to see what was so important that I had my camera out taking pictures of. Not seeing it, eventually they'd ask.

"Dirt.", I'd reply.
