That would be the other great thing to see. Fire both the HAAS drivers and go with Perez and Hulkenburg.

We'd certainly know if it is the drivers or the car.

Considering Leclerc and Vettel are bringing up the rear of the field in similarly powered F-slugs, I'd say it's more the the car than the drivers.

I'm certainly no F1 insider, but were I Guenther, I'd pick the Hulk and Checo for my drivers.

Trust me, it's the car (and the team.)

GP today is reporting Kimi has signed with Alpha for one more year . He deserves a fairwell tour if he wants one .

it is the MOTOR

the teams was doing OK before the motor was restricted by rule
as shown by Alfa and the red guys drop also

Ham pulling off Q2 was amazing. As for Kimi, I guess he still wants to race in F1, even if it is in a pig of a car.

Yep. Back to the wall, still got it done. Bottas in third without any of the issues.

His race is somewhat compromised by having to start on soft tires.

Slows down to make space for his run, and crosses the start line with one second to go! If Bono hadn't told him to get on it, I wonder if he would have made it.

Drivers can now only wear race suits on the podium. The suits must be done up to the neck.

rfuerst911sc 09-27-2020 04:57 AM

Well that was a different result

Three take aways from todays race IMO

1. Even though I'm a Ham fan, he is a sore loser. Take it like a man, man!
2. Karun Chandhok is becoming quite a good commentator. I like him.
3. Sky sports should provide better masks for their commentators. Those flimsy hospital masks look rather cheap IMO

rfuerst911sc 09-27-2020 05:51 AM

I agree Karun is turning into a good commentator . He is smart , speaks clearly and not overly excited .

Zeke 09-27-2020 05:58 AM

I think I could take the front wheel off the car with more class than Carlos Sainz. That little incident didn't even measure up to a rookie mistake. I'm happy for once the dunce of the day didn't eliminate another innocent.

Stroll? Well, he didn't really deserve getting side punched. Did they issue a penalty to Leclerc? Apparently not. That was a classic Dale Earnhardt dunce move. Earnhardt was nothing more than a very talented bully.

So, if I'm Stroll, I'm aiming for Leclerc first opportunity. Hey, no penalty so why not?

I'm in agreement with you on Earnhardt,

I just wish he wouldn't roll his R's so much.
