Stock Question
What is the distinction between shares issued vs delivered.
My assumption is if they are in my name and I have DRS for them then they are delivered.

Someone will know the correct answer but my guess is that when you buy stock, you don't necessarily get the actual shares; they are just in your account. I would think "delivered" is when you request hard copy certificates. Just a guess on my part.

Along those lines FWIW - its a lot easier to dispose of shares issued to the 'account' when it comes time to settle your estate. Shares issued to you personally are a whole different animal in terms of disposition.
