You beat me to it! I looked at the schedule this morning and thought, “Baz must be beside himself, first game of the season is Florida vs Florida!”

Been waiting for this week to start the thread, Patrick. Pretty cool that the Gators are starting off the season this year before all the other teams (except for the other 3 as mentioned) - and that it's the 150 year anniversary of college football!

I just want to thank the Calender Gods for finally saving us from the horror of another no sports summer, which has only things like golf, baseball, and competitive tiddlywinks.

Nebraska is in the AP top 25?

That can't be right. They probably have some cream puffs lined up, SE Mississippi Valley State, North Akron, some such thing

May the golden-armed QB with the flowing golden locks lead Clemson to another National Championship. GO TIGERS!!!

I'll be pulling for Miami in the first game, but expect the Gators to win.

So, is a hurricane actually a duck or a seagull? be lots better if they dressed him up like a shark.
as in 'nado

Reminds me of Stanford. They think a cardinal is a Christmas tree.

BTW I'm looking forward to USC having a 5 and 6 season, but am also preparing to be disappointed.

They need a real coaching staff and athletic director.

Miami's mascot is an ibis.
