Actually agree with Dennis on something.
I also feel sorry for women that have to use the either sex bathrooms. Men are typically gross. |

Back from my youth working in restaurants, women's bathrooms are far far worse then men's.

I think Elon is either off his nut or needs to put down the bong.....

Of all my predictions, the one most controversial is the Tesla one. I love the cars, but I think Elon appears nutty at times and the company sometimes appears to be run haphazardly. For those that looked closer into the financials released this week, you will find that they had $1.8B in cash on hand, *after* raising $2.3B the month before. Also, $300M+ in profit came from "electric car credits" and such that were sold to other manufacturers. This does not seem like a sustainable business model to me by any stretch of the imagination...

Agreed with Wayne's opinion on Elon. I think the VW onslaught on electric cars this year (well, if covid lets them) will take a big chunk out of Tesla's market... ID3s sub 30K, camper vans, Audi Etron GT (goegeous).. and once people realize you can buy an electric with decent door gaps and a normal dash - not to mention a nicer front bumper, they might look at Tesla differently. I think they - tesla - will end up only doing super high end only, trucks, and battery packs.

What do you think of this comment from the article I posted.. "I believe this is because of phony accounting that will be exposed if he cannot create real income. Most of his value is locked up in yuan and he can’t change those into dollars, so now the cash crunch. Reminds me a lot of DeLorean. Needs to sell US assets for dollars or face bigger fraud issues. Imho"

It's my opinion that the demise of Telsa (the company, not the cars) will perhaps in hindsight be one of the biggest no-brainer predictions of all time. To me, the cars are great, but in my view, the company structure appears to be a disaster. Elon has definitely proven himself a bright / brilliant innovator who's FU to the establishment attitude is what is necessary to start something like Tesla and SpaceX. BUT, in order to keep a multi-billion dollar company running and solvent, you need good, solid management. Like Steve Jobs who had Tim Cook. Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, etc. Most of the #2 people are not household names, but are as equally important for maintaining the growth and viability of the company.
Elon's saving grace seems to be his uncanny marketing and hype ability (truly supported by good products, so it does have street cred). That has allowed him to often make billion-dollar capital raises, which has kept the company afloat. I think that well may be drying up these days, with the need for much, much, much more water needed... Model 'S' sales were down 40% in Q4 of 2019. I have hardly ever seen that mentioned anywhere. That shows that the market is just not clamoring for the cars and there are only a limited number of people looking to purchase pure electrics at this time. I think with this covid mess now, people will not be "taking a gamble" on a luxury electric car, and will instead keep/fix their older cars, and/or go with something tried-and-true. -Wayne

This. In a previous job my wife was surprised how much cleaner the mens was compared to the women's.
I case you are wondering, she was usually the last one out and had to check them.

Although we've been raised to believe that women are made of sugar and spice and everything nice, they are actually pretty disgusting at times.

Men pee on the floor, and in some cases all over the wall. I have probably the cleanest public restrooms humanly possible because we clean them constantly all day every day.
Hands down, women are MUCH cleaner when it come to the restrooms. Maybe at your home, when you are conflating the two, you I can see how you would blame your mess on the woman. |
