Just great. I actually need toilet paper.

SOB!

what’s my strategy? Raid my office supplies? Costco? Target?

Putting on pants now. Off to the rat race.

Home Depot:<)

My plan B: We have 4 toilets at home. 3 of them are in bathrooms with a shower and/or tub.

Or go ahead and raid the office supply closet. If you can get there in time.

Want me to parachute you in a roll, Hunger Games style?

Tissue, paper towel, baby wipes. Just don't flush.

LEAKYSEALS951 03-13-2020 07:43 AM

A guy I know mentioned Wal-Mart had RV specific toilet paper (or something like that ) in the RV section that no one knew about. I have no idea is true or not. :D

Arizona_928 03-13-2020 07:45 AM

Yeah there's rv toilet paper in the RV section. But wet wipes are a hell lot more refreshing.

This is no joke.
My grandparents not only never had indoor plumbing, they never had toilet paper. When we went to the little house out back there were supplies of corn cobs and newspaper, and of course the Sears catalog.
So you have options.
We had an outhouse at home too, but my parents were at least civilized enough to buy real TP.

Helpful hint - the red ones are softer. I always went for the red ones. ;)

Hmm, join the crowd and hoard TP or go buy corn and then dry the cobs?

Yeah, I'm heading to the grocery store and I'm ready to body slam anyone that gets in my way.

Isn't that what lettuce is? Nature's toilet paper?

It sure ain't for nutrition...

My MIL grew up on a farm. She says she was camping for the first 16 years of her life. No electricity, and no running water, and an outhouse in the back yard.

I have been to some farms as a kid and they were still using an outhouse. Not a pleasant experience.

They did have toilet paper however.

My grandmother also grew up on a farm with no indoor plumbing. She said she was 14 when her dad had made enough money to pay for indoor plumbing. He told her that they were going to have a toilet inside the house, and she was horrified. Her reply was "dad, what about the smell!". She had no concept of a flush toilet, and had never seen one.

I'm soooo sorry to hear this...

School has been canceled for 6 weeks, I have 5 females at home, and we're on our own septic.

I may be able to spare some of my scotch stash for you.

Cajundaddy 03-13-2020 08:39 AM

We keep a 4 month supply always because sheit happens. I just checked stock and I am willing to trade 10 rolls of TP for $10 and a lovingly restored 1967 911. :)

You're domed. Today may be a good time to take a solo trip to Europe. Because you won't be able to come back for at least a month.
