Brady will suddenly play like the old man he is--this will not end well --Father time will be served.
His end will not be like Montana and the Chiefs. More like Namath and the Rams.

Players always seem to do better after the leave the Bucs. ie., Steve Williams, Doug Williams.
No one does too well when they end with the Bucs.

I hear they have a ton of talent in Tampa, lots of weapons he can use. Who knows?

Some think Edelman will follow Brady to Tampa. Could that lure Gronk out of retirement?

I predict that this will be a sad end to the TB story...another guy who didn't know when to quit.

They have a solid group of receivers. I didn't know they were the top passing offense last season. Probably explains the picks by Winston. You chuck the ball around a lot, you're going to have more picks.

I don't think Winston been picked up yet.
I mean by another team, not the police.

Big surprise in the 1st round of the draft last night was the packers drafting a 1st round quarterback.
Wonder what Aaaaaaron has to say about that? They have a QB, what they really need is someone who knows how to block! Last edited by sammyg2; 04-24-2020 at 07:19 AM.. |

Not terribly surprised by that, as Rodgers is old and at the end of his career. But I'd still be a pit pissed if I were Rodgers, because as you point out I'd rather use that pick to get a player to help me win now.
I'm surprised the Pats traded out of the first round, for a pair of picks from the 2nd and 3rd rounds. A big wonder was if they were going to select a QB. (Or maybe he really likes Stidham.) But I guess Belichick sees how every pick is a gamble, regardless of what number it may be, and that having more picks is potentially more valuable than each pick's ordinal position.
