Good to hear Brian!
I “think” I am going on week 8 of being at home. Never sick, hoping this ends soon. Stay safe, say positive |
I think I had cv-19 in jan 27 very sick but no doc or hospital
recovered slowly at home early march had phyisical and a blood test but NO virus test results normal still trying to get an antibody test but not happening yet locally |
|
Still here, still locked down, and not working, still not sick or any reason to be tested.
I had a scare the other night, I had horrible stomach cramps with some nausea. I started getting hot/cold/hot, and knew to head to the bathroom to purge. Luckily, it was minor food poisoning, or bad reflux, but I was a functional human being the next day. |
I think that I've taken my temperature more in the last month and a half than I've taken it in the last 50 yrs. Continually washing my hands is something new as well. Oh well, so far so good.

L=Y, I=Y, T=Y
This suxxx |
My wife and I were walking the dogs yesterday afternoon and we ran into (12 ft away), another teacher who works with my wife and she just lost her grandmother to the virus about 36 hours after initial diagnosis. She was in a nursing home and also suffering from dementia...

New update L=Y, I=Y, T=Y(negative)
Had an MI on Saturday afternoon. Was in the OR within an hour and got a nice shiny new stent. Excellent care, they saved my life. My COVID test was negative. Stay safe my friends, it's a dangerous world out there. Charles |

Thx Seahawk,
Lockdown=yes, Ill (yes, heart attack), T= tested neg for covid as they were rushing me to the OR. Still gives me time on this planet to learn the harmonica so I can get a smile out of Dottore. I am lucky, should have bought a lottery ticket Saturday morning. Charles |
Glad you made it Charles and didn't decide it was "nothing", which probably is even more common now that people shy away from hospitals.
Jack, did you get tested positive? I'm glad we have only few infections here on PPOT, you geezers must all be taking the stay home orders seriously! :) G |

i am doing well.
essential service, so i am working. half time at my office, half time at home. usually. my wife is front line, she got moved to communicable disease control department and it is essentially ground zero. that is literally the chink in my armor. sucks she is not allowed to tell me any stories. she takes that part seriously. we are not sick yet, my hands are chapped. i wear gloves and a mask when i go out. feels like feeble protection but whatever. neither of us are tested yet, but its available to us with a simple phone call because of my wife's job. i have that ear plug thermometer with me all the time. i should build a holster.:) |
Flatty, NW NJ, L: sorta I:N T:N...mostly self imposed isolation since mid-March
|
LY (since 3/13), IN, TN.
I strongly suspect it went through my extended family Jan-Feb 2020. None of us has been tested, and have been asymptomatic since the lockdown. Every person (except one) in my EF each experienced two or more (sometimes prolonged) symptoms currently recognized as COVIDof variable severity. At the time, our general consensus was that we all had contracted ‘some kind of weird cold/flu virus ‘that wouldn’t go away’. I’m gonna pursue antibody testing for all of us. |

It's still barely hanging on. I have a cough. I spoke to my Dr. today and she's prescribing me a spray for the cough. I did go running last week. First time since late March. Lungs were fine. My knees not so much. :D |
Honolulu
Lockdown - Yes Ill - No Tested - No We are coming out of lockdown on Friday, May 15. Shopping centers are set to open. Monday, May 11, I had to take mom to the ER. She fell and faceplanted and was blocking the door. I had to scoot her out of the way to get into the bathroom. Get to ER and they take her away. Get updates via phone and finally called after she was read to go. Broke her nose and fractured a cervical vertebrae. Her face is all bruised, but she's a trooper. It was a very different experience under Covid19. |
UK, Lockdown since 23 March 2020
75 years old and retired and widower, i have a tame shopper from the village, i last week drew out some cash, hadn't had any since March. Ventured out last week to a hardware store and bought lawn seed and fertiliser. Would have been at the Le Mans 24 hour race in france but for the Chinese. Same goes for the other motor racing trips. Now waiting for a proven vaccine before I go anywhere! |
Just hanging out here at the ranch. I don’t interact with many people, which is fine by me. I go to the feed store, lumber yard, food store, liquor store as needed. We are both healthy and life hasn’t changed much.
