COVID how are the Pelicans Doing
We are a diverse group scattered around the world. If we lose one of our own, sadly, we may never know. Maybe we should start a weekly check in (use the code- username-location-status (Lockdown (Y,N); Ill (Y,N); Test results (Not tested N,+,-). If we don't hear from someone after a while ? add to the death fairy thread:o
WEEK of March 30 charlesbahn, Maryland, LY,IN,TN |

Not dead as yet.
Lockdown yes - day 6 or 7. Tested, no, fit and having a good time. |
3/31. Lake oswego, Or
LY/ IN / TN Work from home now. Stress level is FANTASTIC. Walk the dog, eat too much. Hang with the family. Takeaway? My work life balance wasn't. Need to true that up going forward or I won't be around for long. |
Still alive in Honolulu, but bored as fcuk. 2nd week of our lockdown, but I'm out everyday taking care of family and friends.
Lockdown - Yes Ill - No Tested - No |
No lockdown
No test working as usual As ever, Sweden sticks out in its arrogance and naivity. We know better and so we need no stinking lockdown. Go about your business but keep your distance and stay home when feeling ill. The Second Swedish Experiment. The First is our completely crazy immigration policy. Sigh.. |

BTW, I watch sanity 4 Sweden on a daily basis. I like him. |
Lock down yes, in Oklahoma City. Not really much different than my routine work form home for the last few years.
Not tested, not exposed to many people. We are cooking more at home than before with all the restaurants changed to take out only. |
Lockdown yes; N; N Drove by a roadhouse on a side road on the way back from wife's eye doc yesterday afternoon, the place was jumping. Open sign on, lot full.
|
Houston, lockdown, not ill
I did get an email on my work account today that someone that has been working in my office is presumed positive. I've been working from home for at least 2 weeks, so I'm not concerned, and I have no plans to go back to the office any time soon. |

I'm in a 14 day isolation (today is day 3) I woke up Mon. am feeling like crap. I have a fever 101-102, muscle ache, slight headache, slight cough which I always have and I feel like crap. I'm sleeping a lot.
I haven't been tested yet, in Ontario you have to be referred for a test. The online survey says I just need to ride it out for 14 days. My better half has been taking care of me |
NW Ohio, been on governor mandated layoff for 1.5 weeks, not tested, no symptoms, I don't know anyone sick.
I've been getting some farm projects done...(not bored at all), and it looks like I will have another 30 days of retirement practice coming up....per the governor. |
93nav, twincities, LY, IN, TN
93nav, twincities, lockdown Y, ill N, tested N, bored Y, not getting anything done except posting on Pelican and watching the stockmarket(WTH???). Report from grocery store by a friend. All good except no eggs. No TP status though, I will get that tomorrow. |
I think the spirit here was a running thread where you copy the list of people that already posted. One of you bored guys should compile the missing dots before it is too late!
charlesbahn, Maryland, LY,IN,TN . . . aigel LY, IN, TN |

Jeff, Australia, LN,IN,T-
Not locked down but limiting movements and contacts as much as possible. |
Company Pilot from NY, had one flight last week to Fla. Never got off the plane, passenger got out and we went home. Nothing on the books for the next two weeks. Daughter is home from college finishing up her senior year online. We are all healthy and trying to get out for some exercise now that the weather in the Northeast is getting better.
One of the big learning curves for me is staying away from this constant news cycle. Trying to focus on the positives and the Provider, not the provision. My goals over the near term would be trying to identify those who are truly behind the power curve when it comes to needs, not wants. My SIL who has been really bad with money, just lost her job as a Nurse Practitioner in an OB/Gyn office (she's 70) and ran out and got her nails and hair done to the tune of $200 because those business were closing.......Arghhhhhh. Now she is going to want some financial help going forward.....can't make this stuff up. Stay Healthy you all! |
