Right? Weird, and frankly, pretty unusual for this place.

Sorry for the loss.

My 2c .... if you meant this to be an online funeral mass, focus on uncle and the life he has lived, not lashing out at "the world" and wishing others harm.

Your point is valid. I failed to think through my response but I do think that the comment "screw you" is one of anger. I've always believed that anger, as an emotion is not wrong, but acting out on anger is not the best action. That's why I say giving a pass on some verbal action taken in grief is appropriate.

It is at least understandable. Even if inappropriate, this is hardly the time to be giving Mr. Wolf etiquette lessons .

I understand the OP’s frustration. Thankfully I have not lost a family member yet. It frustrates me to no end to see people or hear people not taking this mess we’re in seriously. When I go to work every day I wear a mask to protect everyone from me and the possibility that I’ve been exposed. I don’t think that is living scared but rather it’s being responsible. I hate not being able to live life the exact way I want to but oh well. With everyone’s help hopefully we will get back to that at some point.

Let's be clear on one point; Wolfe used his uncles death there solely for immunity to insult... unsupported blame and insult. He also used it as cover to get PARFy from OT. Anyway, he posted Nothing about how he will miss this uncle of his. Nothing about how he is feeling - Just one angry OP attack-post, void of anything positive.

None of the people he attacks had anything to do with his uncles death. I know this because I can see that those are straw men that he has constructed out of PARFers and FB 'friends' apparently.

Allowing a grieving person to assign blame, to people who had nothing to do with the death, is not etiquette. And this is not a Lesson in etiquette. Some of you clearly want him to continue blaming people who had nothing to do with this. I think this does everyone a disservice.

Have you ever considered that just shutting up might be a better look? Just curious.

Just what are you trying to say Jim?

Does it rhyme with snowtires?

Still not sure there is only one way to grieve. Human emotions will walk around a shallow river instead of wading through it sometimes. A multitude of unrelated emotions can result in a outburst which might not make sense to anyone else. And theses are trying times when everyone deals with 360 of pressure. The objections are technically correct and I suppose I'd agree, but there's a time when it's best to endure the storm. Those aren't my shoes either. The truth may turn out to be completely different.

Wolfe is a pelican. Suck it up, shut up, and let him vent.
Even if it seems idiotic.

Geesh. and I wonder why people are afraid to express themselves or even be vulnerable these days.

My Condolences Wolfe- It is always hard to lose a loved one regardless of the cause. I wish you and your family peace.

That being said the "screw you" because there are people concerned about the loss of liberties or don't believe the virus is as serious as stated was uncalled for.

Why don't we leave the PARFY crap out of this thread?

Just make this for Wolfe and his uncle and take this crap somewhere else.

Were you close with your uncle, Wolfe?

I've got/had 2 close uncles, my mom's brother and my mom's brother-in-law. One passed last year from Cancer and the other is currently terminal with a degenerative lung thing. I think he's down to something like 15-25% lung function combined. I knew them both as well as I know any relatives outside of my immediate family and both are in many of my earliest memories. It's rough.
