Personally, I'd probably give the nod to the coroner's conclusion though, which was a massive MI. Quote:

I find it curious that so many reel about live testing accuracy when tests show this has spread much farther and has MANY more asymptomatic and mild symptom positives... but this testing - on months-old samples... accurate w/o question?

Here it is. Even backwoods Okla can go back and test.
https://www.kjrh.com/news/local-news/state-medical-examiners-office-confirms-an-increase-of-20-40-year-old-deaths-amid-pandemic The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that they have seen an increase of deaths caused by pneumonia and coronavirus-like symptoms in individuals ages 20-40 in the past few months, who were not tested for COVID-19 before their passing. Medical doctors can request that an individual who has passed with COVID-19 symptoms, but had not been diagnosed, be tested. "The physician will decide if a swab sample needs to be taken depending on the signs and symptoms of the cases with antemortem symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, but we are unable to obtain specimens in all cases,“ said Amy Elliot, chief administrative officer with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The state’s medical examiners do not perform the tests themselves. They collect swab samples and send them to the Oklahoma State Department of Health to be tested, according to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office. We have obtained specimens from some of our cases and there have been positive results for COVID-19,” Elliot said. "Collecting COVID-19 data on deaths is something that the Medical Examiner’s Office would like to be able to do in the future. "Until such time we have these resources, we will swab cases with antemortem history or symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, but are unable to obtain specimens in all cases.” |

ah..gotta clear things up.
It is not Mahler's loss. It is his neighbor's loss, as the deceased was a friend of the neighbor. And she died from a heart attack, and no one knew she had corona virus, as she was asymptomatic at the time of her death. However, that is of no matter, somehow her passing is relevant to this thread. And Mahler says you can't take away the fact that someone who tests postive for coronavirus posthumously deserves (something, not sure what), and because that person was a human being, that thing can't be taken away by another human being. OK..all caught up, go. |

Island...you overlook one very important (and obvious) point in all of this. Buying “time” for elderly, infirm, young and old is very valuable when dealing with a virus we are furiously working to combat.
Buying time means that lives may be saved when, perhaps a few months later we have an effective treatment or vaccine. So, you may see it as postponing the inevitable. Heck, eating fruits and vegetables does that. Rather it is allowing the global effort to treat CV19 some time to do its work.

I wonder why so many people that have posted in this thread seem to suggest that this woman did not die from Covid-19 infection?
Do they believe in some massive conspiracy, perpetuated by CNN/"them"/MSM/TDS/AOC, or BOC (Big Orange Clown)? They can focus on death rates and deaths, and claim that globally there have only been 2-3 deaths and the death rate (number of deaths divided by those with confirmed cases, or estimated numbers of humans globally that have likely been infected) is .000000000%. I don't care. They can imply that the U.S. economy has been destroyed by Trump, CDC, NIH, democratic governors, republican governors, yada yada yada or some other folks, et cetera. Seems so. I don't care. They can believe what they want to believe for their own reasons. I don't care. They can believe in whatever conspiracy theories they want-- I don't care. Why would I care?

AS was stated before, a few facts of her death... She seemed to have gotten over her nasty cold symptoms, was corresponding with a coworker (working from home) at 8AM and was found DEAD just TWO hours later. And, to top it all off, the COD (cause of death) was not pneumonia (a CV hallmark) but rather a heart attack. Oh wait... I get it... you believe in some massive conspiracy that the State called COD a heart attack to hide the REAL cause (pneumonia) because they wanted to hide evidence of the China virus in the States. ![]() Seriously, the new COD rules.. we've talked about them before. If CV is present, that get's added to the COD whether it was the actual cause or not. This new .. feature of COD has spurred satires such as sky diver forgets parachute, dies of Covid-19. Tagging COD to CV has become the new norm as it also generates free govt cheese. So, yeah, you keep on calling others conspiracy theorists. It's a good look on you. (willful ignorance)

If you test positive for C19 but are asymptomatic (or have mild symptoms, then recover) and you die in a car accident a week later, is that a "COVID-related" death? Quote:

This has been a rough thread to read through. Mahler - lighten up. It's getting old. Don't give a flying fark about your input.

You should have put that in green. This deficit spending issue is one of the few things Tabs and I agree on.

This thread is nothing. The "back to normal" thread...that has got to be a PPOT classic for the books.
