I'm feeding my parents as I type this. They came over to my office and I had ordered a bunch of BBQ today for my crew. I imagine they'll watch TV upstairs and then Dad will be ready for bed. Had to sit down and take a break, hoping to read something interesting here. The biggest problem in life is how to care for your aging parents. |

If you get the flu, recover, then die of a heart attack (or whatever) a weak/weeks later, does that mean you died from the flu? LOL, if so the CFR for the flu would be off the charts. Though, I suppose I could see it if all "flu-related" death were monetized like "COVID-related" deaths are. |

"Well, the death of your neighbor's colleague was attributed to a massive heart attack. She was positive for C19 postmortem, but was not symptomatic at the time of her death (she was working from home and talking with co-workers within hours of TOD). She had mild flu-like symptoms previously, but had since recovered. Of course, you would have to check sources other than CNN to get that info..."
My friend/neighbor knew her and is thoroughly familiar with what happened. They were colleagues and had meetings with others during January. I did not learn about this from the CNN story... I learned about it from my neighbor/friend this afternoon. He told me that she had not "recovered" and was working from home because of it. CNN had nothing to do with my conversation with my neighbor. Perhaps you believe that there is some type of conspiracy involved with this pandemic and/or some type of conspiracy involved with the recent claim that she may be US death #1. Or that she is even deceased. That is up to you. Perhaps no human being has died as a result of this somebeech virus and it is all a hoax. Of course folks can believe what they want. Thankfully, no human being can take that from any other human being.

According to the CNN article, the implication is that she just keeled over dead. She told people she wasn't feeling well. Pretty slimey reporting. It says the family all thought she died of a heart attack. It said she was active and healthy. It says the death was corona-related.
So everything CNN said is true yet a completely different story, according to Eric, has emerged. Whoever wrote the article, if what Eric says is true, was clearly writing to fit an agenda. Call it propaganda, fake news, whatever you want. It was deceptive reporting. |

We hear how testing on live virus is full of false positives and false negatives. Is there some solid postmortem test? Or do phone records show that she once drive through Corona California?

Oh, and Mahler, CNN IS a propaganda machine. There is no question (or "conspiracy") about that.

They did think it was a heart attack. She was active and healthy. What is "Eric's" different story?
They confirmed Covid-19 infection after death. What does any of this have to do with CNN? Are they the only ones that reported the story? Again, I read the article at the link I provided only after speaking with my friend/neighbor. I had not seen him for 2-3 weeks... he is working really hard for his company that is trying to .... bring some new tech related to 5G to market. Ooops, more for ya'll to talk about.

"So how exactly are they testing for CV on a months old corpse? "
Why don't you go and find out? make some calls, send some e-mails... call her family. Buy some new tin foil.

Why would CNN or Fox News or similar be anything other than that? We are capitalists here in the US, and they want their businesses to be successful. I don't watch CNN or Fox News much. The latter I watch sometimes for grins-- particularly Laura I. I did not know her in college but we were there in Hanover at the same time and she made the local and campus (and maybe national?) news back then by doing something horrible, for which since has since apologized.

Why don't you call the Santa Clara County Coroner? Or try to access records which might be public.

I can't find the article but Oklahoma is going back and testing early pneumonia deaths for coronavirus. The state health dept said that they don't keep samples from all deaths in storage but they do have many they can use to go back and test at a later date,.
Probably the same in all states. |
