One of my other friends had an unusual first and last name that I will not post online. If he had to give his name at any place he would state his name, and start spelling it. His first name was just three letters long, but unusual.

Worked with a polish guy who’s name started with A and ended with Z and it seemed like all 24 of the other letters were in there so that’s what we called him, A-Z.

Forgot another, Guy Caballaro, a character Joe Flaharty played on Second City T.V. in Chicago back in the 70’s. A great show. I’ve used it a few times on phone huxsters....had fun with it.

Funny posts here. One funny one I read was posted by a guy who moved from Nebraska to the East Coast, had problems with the change in accents. In a pool hall, thought one of the players was named "Mike Deloya".

One day he asked a legal question, and was told; "Ask Mike, he's de Loya" (the lawyer)

The guy who streams Turning Stone tournaments is from Jersey...cracks me up when he calls Jayson Shaw of Scotland "Jayson Shore"...

Lately, everyday, when video conferences ask you to enter your name. Today I was “Thor God of Thunder”, gets a laugh and starts an otherwise dull conference off a little more fun.

I worked with a polish guy...his last named started with "T" and had 10 letters so we just called him "T-10".

One of my best friends is my age....38. His name is Frank, and his wife's (age, 38, as well) name is Gladys. Strangers never believe that their names are actually Frank and Gladys, since they don't appear to be 70+.

A favorite author (Stuart Kaminsky) had a book with a smart alec gumshoe. The gumshoe gave the name "Lester Hipnoodle" as an alias in a book.

I "may" have signed into a few motels, restaurants, and other non-important things with a similar name. Busts my family up every time. You can't say Lester Hipnoodle and keep a straight face.
