Elissa 1 Week Post Transplant
We thought we had some set backs but my wife says they are only small steps forward. Our 3:00 daily video chat is the only contact we have with Elissa. Today she shows improvement and is breathing on her own and has assistance breathing when she is sleeping. Her # at Duke is transplant patient 2110. 2109 transplant at duke before her had lung transplants. We were told next week she should move to a regular room from the ICU.
