Okay, how far do we want to pick this nit? I am duty bound to correct all of my previous posts, and have done so. (Did I use the correct font?)

Actually, as listed on the ATF site and in accordance with the previous terminology Nazis, a Type 3 is not a normal FFL.

https://www.atf.gov/resource-center/fact-sheet/fact-sheet-federal-firearms-and-explosives-licenses-types

Types of Federal Firearms Licenses:
  • Type 01 - Dealer in Firearms Other Than Destructive Devices
  • Type 02 - Pawnbroker in Firearms Other Than Destructive Devices
  • Type 03 - Collector of Curios and Relics
  • Type 06 - Manufacturer of Ammunition for Firearms Other Than Ammunition for Destructive Devices or Armor Piercing Ammunition
  • Type 07 - Manufacturer of Firearms Other Than Destructive Devices
  • Type 08 - Importer of Firearms Other Than Destructive Devices or Ammunition for Firearms Other Than Destructive Devices, or Ammunition Other Than Armor Piercing Ammunition
  • Type 09 - Dealer in Destructive Devices
  • Type 10 - Manufacturer of Destructive Devices, Ammunition for Destructive Devices or Armor Piercing Ammunition
  • Type 11 - Importer of Destructive Devices, Ammunition for Destructive Devices or Armor Piercing Ammunition

Was that Adam's Armory? They're usually pretty helpful over there, sounds like ammo buying is a PITA now. I have done business with Cobra Tactical over in the commerce center off of 126 but they specialize in black rifle....

If you get caught crossing the border with ammo purchased from NV, you’re going to have a really bad day. One in a million chance of getting stopped but it’s still a big risk, no?

So, for my fellow subjects of California. Do not post about traveling out of state to buy.

If you do buy out of state use cash.

Do not drive to gun shows with a California licensed vehicle. Seems cal doj is recording California plates and the chp is stopping cars on the way home.

Vote for freedom. Gavin and Beccera must go.

I was once bounced by a couple of BATF agents in the parking lot of a sun store here in LV...weren't they disappointed when all they found was a couple of Revolutionary war military rifles..

I've been offered two guns that ran faster than normal guns, on a phone call. I wondered who else was on the call

Lol, no they rsn so fast that you needed to have a tax stamp on them. But they were"Undocumented"

Rick Lee 07-13-2020 08:21 PM

I could be that one in a million stops and there's still a 0% chance they'd legally get into my car for a search. WTF consents to a search and HTF does crossing into your home state constitute PC for a warrant?

I think you're correct Rick, not consenting makes the S&S illegal. Either way you lose your stuff and either way I'm sure you'd never see it again unless you can afford the legal fees.
