We have a cool chick in our local Porsche club. She drives a 997 911 Turbo. Her husband prefers a pickup. She is into hunting and bagged a Elk a couple of years ago. Her husband is a big hunter also and their house is full of mounts. And she made some really kick butt Elk Chili, good stuff.

Well, shortly after I met my soon to be wife (currently celebrating our 38th year), she asked me if I would help her find and buy a red Targa. I think we bought the first one we looked at, a slightly high miler driven by an optometrist to his office 30 miles away on a daily basis. Heavily optioned and clean as they come.
We kept that car for about 16 years and had I known, I would not have sold it. That's the only one I might regret. AFA the "chick" goes, she loved that car and has an affinity for red open cars. She owned a read Healey earlier in life as well as a red Jeep. Today, she has a red '44 Jeep that came from her father and I restored as well (it got painted Guards Red) and a 60K mile '00 Boxster. I think she isn't too upset about the Targa because the Box does have amenities, that a mid year air cooled didn't have, that function well for her. Namely an automatic top and really good A/C. It's a 5-speed and she drives it well. What more could you ask for? A satisfied woman is a happy woman. She's cool. |

My sweetie loves my 911 as long as she doesn't have to spend more than two hours in it (get rid of the rest of the top noise, put Recaros in (they're on the way) and add air conditioning and she'd be up for more.) She's the best engineer I know, a badass, tremendously open-hearted and kind and generous - that's more than cool enough for me.

I walked into WalMart and immediately saw hot chicks in the food court area. Then hit the freezer section and saw the cool ones.
