OBD? No. Back then a tech actually had to do testing and use his skill to figure out what was needed. Today, repair people just want to throw parts at the problem (at your expense) until the problem went away. They don't think. Just plug in the OBD and guess.

On this day in 1983, Microsoft introduced their first 2-button computer mouse for the IBM PC, PC XT, and compatibles.

I have one just like it. And a copy of Windows 386!

LeBron James has just extended his NBA Record by losing his 107th Playoff Game. In the final 2 games of the series, LeBron scored a total of 5 points in the 4th quarter when his team needed him the most. Time for LeBron James to realize there's nothing he can do to change the fact that Michael Jordan will always be considered the GOAT.

I had a Sun version in my shop. It just had an O-scope, dwell meter, and another dial-type meter that I don't recall it's purpose (it's been over 50 years, give me a break). They looked exactly like the meters on the machine on the right. I remember the manual had pages of drawings of the various squiggles that could appear on the O-Scope and what they indicated.

A local resto/race shop still has an old Sun 'Tune UP Tester' on the floor. Might be a bit newer than the one in that photo, but looks like it still has the same basic functions.
