My all time favourite song.

Louis Armstrong - A Kiss to Build a Dream On

Post yours please.

(also part of the "Sleepless in Seattle" sound track)

I have ruined many sets of speakers in my cars on this song.

I first bought the Quadraphonic 8 track, wore that out, Quad was gone, so I replaced it with another 8 track tape, and wore that out. By then cassettes were common, so I got a cassette and wore that out. Then I bought the album, and made my own tapes. I bought the CD when it came out, and than the ZZ Top 6 Pack has the album again.

They made their money from me!

I couldn't possibly pick just one, but Louis has some great ones, and I REALLY like that one as well.

I think when I was younger, Hotel California was at the top of my list. So that's probably as close as I could get to picking one, because at one time it was. These days I'd have a hard time narrowing it down. Too many genre of music, and too many great songs in each genre.

That'd by like going here and trying to pick out the best flower.

Stairway to heaven is on my short list.

Just watched the video of Heart doing it at Kennedy center, exciting performance.

First song that comes to mind for an answer is Bohemian Rhapsody?

So many great songs and bands. Hard to pick just one. Love me some Louis Armstrong ("What a Wonderful World" and his version of "La Vie en Rose" are great). Here's one that always gets me. It's "one" of my favorites

I agree, way too many great songs, albums and artists to single one song out.

For instance, I wouldn't have thought of Geo Harrison but I used to play that album over and over.

Never saw that video ^^^^ and it's a little disturbing. Awkward as well.

Tons of favorites but number one is "Life's Been Good"

I finally got to hear it live last year when Joe Walsh had his VetsAid charity show in Houston with the Doobie Brothers, ZZ Top, Brad Paisley and Sheryl Crow.

Favorite song? Yeah RIGHT. That's not possible.

But then there are songs and performances which thunder through time and space, and become etched into society for generations. I should also mention that times of crisis, struggle, and overcoming great pain tend to produce the greatest songs and artists.

sentimental favorite:

I can listen to Rhapsody in Blue many times over and not get tired of it.
When I'm driving, I especially like Jessica by the Almond Brothers Band, the long version.
Of late, I've been enjoying the video of the Eagle's Farewell Tour from Australia's Laver Stadium a lot. It's nice to see all those people together, no masks, shoulder-to-shoulder without a care, enjoying the music. Later videos of the group (like the ones they recorded in 2018 at the Forum) don't compare as the recording just wasn't as well produced as that concert series was, IMO. Glenn Frey did a good job and he is missed technically and vocally too.
