Anyone seen Comet Neowise?

I did. Took a picture with my 13 year old D40 on a tripod with a 15 second shot at ISO200, f/5.6 and manual focus.

Still not very clear, and I wasn't going to fiddle around with it.

Not a great photo, but it was great to finally have the typical WNY cloud cover off Lake Erie finally dissipate! Added bonus, saw the Space Station about an hour later!

My wife and I are lucky and live in the country! Last night was crystal clear and we could see it with the naked eye, and binoculars made it even better. Will look tonight as it will be another clear night.

Your last chance will be Wednesday. It gets higher each day until then, but starting Wednesday the Moon will be getting bigger and bigger and will wash it out after that. No one knows what the comet will look like after this full Moon cycle, but it will surely be much dimmer.

Northwest, as soon as the horizon gets dark, moving each day but basically hanging out under the bowl of the Big Dipper. The further North you are the better. Binoculars make it pretty easy even in some cities, naked eye is hard unless it's dark where you are.

Just found it. One palm below the Big Dipper.

Even in the polluted skies here, the tail is quite noticeable. Forming a triangle tonight with 2 distinct stars.

Just saw it 25 minutes ago. It looked slightly ghostlier than David's picture above. I spotted it by looking slightly off center with my eyes from where it was supposed to be, then used my binocs to get a better view of it.

Those two stars are the front feet of Ursa Major, the Big Bear. It'll move from there tomorrow, then again the next day, etc. It's moving about 4 degrees a day in the sky, which is something like 3 fingers wide at arms length.

So Mrs LWJ and I spent the evening taking pics of the comet. Good times. Especially when the sprinklers turned on...

Took a drive to the local wildlife refuge and got a good look. Not as good as Hale Bopp but better than Haley's.

Not much is. I suspect Hale-Bopp was pretty much a once in a lifetime. The moon is, I think, about 1/2 degree across. The Andromeda Galaxy is ~3 degrees across (but most folks only see a portion of the whole thing. I read that Hale-Bopp topped out at 40-45 degrees across. I remember seeing it and thinking it was so big and bright that it hardly seemed real (Biblical). It set a bunch of records for comets, something like 4 or 8 weeks brighter than a brightness of 0, visible to the naked eye for 18 months, etc....

Red eye out of Seattle 25 years ago was laying back in the seat waiting for a delayed departure. Looked out the window and there was Hale Bopp. I at least knew what it was from the news. What struck me odd is it looked frozen in the sky. Logically it made sense but the little kid in me wanted some action.

That's a pretty good photo. I took some last night and they look great reviewed in the camera viewfinder but too dark on my monitor. :-/

It's not an easy thing to capture without a big/bright long lens. Even a 10 second shutter will show obvious earth movement smear.
