I know this is hard to believe....but in addition to the double standard stuff you mentioned.......I have know "certain people" to conjure up stories in order to stir up trouble - in many cases because they love the drama so much and (apparently) can't get enough of it just minding their own business.

My standard response when someone starts up with some drama story is: "Talk to the hand...this is a drama free zone!"

Oh HE11 NO! I've been there and I did get up in the guys' face. I made no threat just made sure he understood that it will not happen again. Those were literally my last words "it will not happen again". Of course she never went back. That was my wife, would I do it for somebody else's wife? I don't think so.

Don't handle your friend's problem for him. Next thing you know, she'll be bragging over and over how you saved her and before you know it, you and your friend will have conflict. The only thing I would do is to advise your friend but don't do it for him.

Talked to my bud tonight , he does not even seem to care , they just don't want to go back . Mechanic guy sucked anyhow, misdiagnosed a bad wheel bearing for a bad axle bearing It was howling like a mother on my test drive . He should just stick to ass grabbing , and let me fix the cars
