Touchy feely mechanic
 

My buddies wife just called begging me to look at her jeep. She said, that the local guy she uses, always unprovoked, hugs her . She said it is very uncomfortable
She just told me that yesterday, not only did he pull her in to hug her, but he got himself a handful of butt cheek. And, her jeep is still making the same noise
How would you handle this ? As her husband ? Id be livid, but don't think I would get myself arrested over it . I would probably casually mention that if you touch my wife again, we will have a serious problem . My buddy is a pacifist . He won't do anything
I told her that I charge extra for grab ass

i would personally call that doosh and tell him that it won't happen again, or there will be consequences.

And if he feels inclined he could write a long email explaining why he wont be using their services again.
Grabbing someones wife is a obvious show of disrespect. I would not do business with anybody who disrespects me like that.

It's her problem to fix. She can change mechanics for the sake of getting the gob done better but to avoid anyone because of inappropriate behavior is not necessary. She needs to simply tell the guy that she isn't comfortable with hugs. I mean this in now, right? WTF is the guy doing when we are supposed to be 6 feet apart?

Even when this is over that argument has merit and isn't personal. Keep your distance buddy and wipe down my car.

You call the guy and let him know to chill because a woman is feeling uncomfortable with the displays of affection. Do him a favor. He is more than likely very harmless but keeps pushing it.

Wise advice as always . That is not my battle though. I'm happy to service her Jeep . The rest is their problem .
I am also proud to have conducted myself professionally all my life. There have been some temptations though....

Take the jeep in, ask about the noise, AND give him an improptu hug with butt cheek squeeze.

That is funny stuff right there. Give him a big old slap on the arse. and say " wooo wee you sure are looking purty today "

i find it hard to believe that in this day and age anyone would go in for butt contact.

I’d get on the phone immediately, or better yet go down there in person, and tell him in no uncertain terms that there’s going to be hell to pay if he doesn’t finally get that noise fixed.

She should file a police report, just to put it on record.

Just sitting here thinking about it. I have known a ton of huggy women. I have gotten so many unprovoked hugs over the years, I could not even begin to count .
Funny how there is a double standard .
In this day and age, I would not dare touch any female other than my wife or my mum
