SNL 50th Anniversary

The show was such a hit from the early days, it became a not miss event early in my life. The Not Ready For Prime Time Players all became legends: Aykroid, Belushi, Morris, Curtain, Radner, Chase and Newman. The skits that followed were so memorable: Weekend update, Cheeburger Cheeburger, Wild and Crazy Guys, Bee family then later years had Church Lady, Pat, and anything with Farley. Can't forget the special guests and the bands. I still remember the October 1978 episode when Devo played Satisfaction wearing biohazard suits and I was blown away. I always looked out for skit actors breaking character and on the verge of losing it with laughter, made it even more funny. All done LIVE!

So much history out there on YT, post your favorite character skit or memory. Here is one of mine, not the best clarity though.

The Samurai, skits and killer bees were great.

Norm McDonald as Burt Reynolds had me in stitches. Still funny years and years later.

We named our race team "Thr3ve Racing". Suck it Trebek!

But, yeah, the old stuff was classic. The Coneheads, Rosanne Rosannadanna, the Bass-O-Matic.

Can't find a full clip, probably copyright issues, but this was fantastic.
