Agreed and he knows that but that may just be the challenge he needs.

I think being a commentator will frustrate him because he will look at every play, know what's coming, and before the snap we will hear a lot of "you ****ing idiots, what are you doing?"

lol...the tv ratings should go up!

He does have a sense of humor so commentating might work.

Somebody asked him about vaxxing and he said, ‘Who am I to tell somebody what to put in their bodies?’

Unless he owned a team, I think TB wouldn’t really care how well any team played. He’d have made his mark on the industry and sports in general so...

I guess I have to withdraw this praise or at least qualify it. Saw video this morning of Gronk reminding TB of that he only needed 1 more catch for his bonus. So I guess it’s not entirely TB keeping track of who needs what.

This is where I think he ends up or GM position like Elway took in Denver. Coaching? I don't see it. I'm not aware of any truly successful player, ala TB, Payton Manning, John Elway etc, making the move to coaching. The drive for perfection would make them good team owners because they've been able to see and develop talent throughout their careers as players.

Oh... and GO STEELERS!!

TB could retire and make boat loads of money just being TB. Endorsements, speaking engagements, golf tournaments, "goodwill ambassador" etc. What a life....

TB could retire and never need to make another dime.

I just read online that John Elway and Peyton Manning are each going to be part of financial groups that will be bidding against each other for the Denver Broncos . Rumored sale price in the 4 billion dollar range !

stevej37 01-12-2022 03:27 PM

I wouldn't think Elway would be able to match Manning on bidding...maybe.

Neither one of them have that kind of money , so it will boil down to which group of investors is able and willing to spend the $$$ . And there may be multiple groups trying to buy the team .

flatbutt 01-13-2022 05:02 AM

What am I bid for the NY Giants?

Let's start at $1.

cabmandone 01-15-2022 03:41 AM

Should be some decent games today. Bengals/Raiders and Bills/Patriots
I'll probably be sitting in a tree stand or in my "she shed" watching the Bengals game. Trying to get some jerky and snack sticks before season ends.

I apologize in advance...

Tom Brady helps deliver 2022 Super Bowl tickets to young fan who battled brain cancer
Noah Reeb won the hearts of NFL fans earlier this season
By Ryan Gaydos

Tom Brady warmed the hearts of NFL fans earlier this season when he handed his hat to a young boy holding a "Tom Brady helped me beat brain cancer" sign.

On Saturday, Brady surprised 10-year-old Noah Reeb with another special gift. Noah is going to the Super Bowl.

The NFL’s Twitter account tweeted a video message from Brady to Noah. The boy was decked out in Tampa Bay Buccaneers gear while surrounded by family.
"I know it’s been a while. I hope you’ve been enjoying the season so far. We’re grinding, getting ready to start the playoffs," Brady said.

"But earlier you held up that sign that I helped you beat brain cancer. Well, listen, your fight, you’ve inspired so many people, including myself, but millions of others also. The NFL and the Bucs look forward to sending deserving fans to the Super Bowl each year and fans that have incredible stories like the one you’ve had.

"So as a thank you, I worked with both the Bucs and the NFL to get you and your family Super Bowl tickets this year in LA. We certainly hope to be there, but I know you’re going to be there. It’s going to be really cool for all of us. Glad to see you’re doing well. Take care, man. Enjoy the tickets!"
Noah was in shock.
"We’re going to the Super Bowl!" one family member exclaimed
Noah thanked Brady in the video.

The Utah native made headlines in October when he and Brady had the little interaction at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.

Noah’s parents promised him that when he beat cancer and was healthy enough to travel, they would take him to see Brady live. By late summer, the cancer was gone.

Noah and his father attended the Oct. 24 game against Chicago. The seven-time Super Bowl champion approached Noah before the end of the game and handed him his hat, leaving the boy with tears of joy.
Brady, at the time, thanked Noah for inspiring him.

No first playoff jitters for Joe Burrow he is razor sharp . Raiders hanging in there . Good game so far . Looking forward to tonight's game also .

stevej37 01-15-2022 02:41 PM

Strange schedule....two playoff games today and three tomorrow.
Then one on Monday night?

Sunday's games look like real good ones.

Not sure that’s what motivates him.

Should flush the whole NFC East and start over.

Congratulations to the Bengals for a well played game . Now let's see what Buffalo/New England can do .
