Not sure where you are seeing it's $45/month but the NFL Network has been airing games for years and usually it's only a couple bucks to add to your cable, or you can also get it on YouTube tv, Sling, Fubo and a bunch of other streaming options.

At game time, when trying to add the NFL network, my Comcast user upgrade bar wouldn't show the choice (for some odd reason)
I'm wondering if it was because I just ok'd a new 2 year agreement with them...I don't know.
So before we gave up, I tried fubo...and that was $45...which didn't happen.

Game highlights here. Brady threw for 348 yards and 4 TD's before half-time.
Just like shooting fish in a barrel.

The Saints are Marchin' In

Aaaaaand my Steelers are still suckin.

I'm watching the Toilet Bowl - Cincinnati at Houston.

cabmandone 12-27-2020 11:26 AM

Hey! My Steelers just remembered they have an offense!

Jags now get the #1 pick. I hope Trevor likes it here.

cabmandone 12-27-2020 03:32 PM

Poor Trevor... Maybe he should consider playing his Senior year. The other thing to consider is that Carson Wentz and likely Sam Darnold will be available. I think the Jags would be better off checking off other needs in the draft. Lawrence seems like a sure thing but so have many other QB's. And I'm not a fan of throwing a new QB to the lions. I still think Josh Rosen could have been a good QB in the right system with the right players.

RWebb 12-27-2020 03:54 PM

The coach has to match his new QB with the system.

AND, I suspect the highest draft choice is not really a good place to be. You wind up with no protection -- which is not a good thing in the NFL. A few steps down and you're more likely to have a pocket for > 1 sec.

also, Go Seahawks!

If I was him I won't play for the Jags. They suck.

It'll be interesting to see what he does. The Jags will have the first pick unless they were to trade down for more picks which is what they should do.
The Bengals took Burrow last year which made sense. They had a decent team but needed a franchise QB to complete the roster. J-ville is not in the same position. They have holes to fill and adding first round picks would help them fill those holes.

I feel sorry for anyone that has to play the Packers , wow did they look solid last night !!!

stevej37 12-28-2020 07:20 AM

^^^ Plus, they have the best home-field advantage in the NFL....at this time of the year.

Have you watched the Saints or KC? The Chiefs had an off game yesterday but man when they're firing on all cylinders they're SCARY good.

No doubt the Saints and Chiefs can dominate also . Seattle looks strong also . I really thought the Titans could at least hang with the Packers ........... it was over right after the kickoff :D

cabmandone 12-28-2020 07:48 AM

The Titans seem to have lost something since last year. Maybe it's the whole covid thing and rotating players in and out? But they seem to be missing something.

RWebb 12-28-2020 09:42 AM

once again, the question is Who will beat Mahomes/The Chiefs ??

the best old school rock'em sock 'em team in many years couldn't do it last year

biosurfer1 12-28-2020 11:04 AM

Looks like Washington is looking for a new QB...apparently if you break covid protocol twice, once to go to a strip club, teams don't look the other way if you also suck being a QB.

I think Buffalo can beat them. If the Steelers hadn't lost two key players to knee injuries on D I think they could have. If KC plays like they did against the Falcons, almost any team in the AFC playoffs should be able to beat them.

Two things happened that never should have happened in this situation.
1) Haskins should have stayed one more year at OSU (don't get me wrong I'm glad he didn't. Had he stayed we wouldn't have Fields now)
2) Washington never should have taken him in the first round.
