Was just talking about this with a friend.... Tom and Jerry is still hilarious. Such a simpler time when dynamite was so easily attainable..
The voice of a generation... Aeon Flux blew me away the first time I saw it. Liquid Television on MTV. Itself just a really great show with bizarre animation. Also the Brothers Quay

Loved Bugs Bunny growing up. Wallace and Gromit is awesome, too.
Found this movie totally by random years ago when renting something at Blockbuster for my kids: The Thief and the Cobbler. Really was clever and the animation was fascinating.

I would put Cars 1 & 2 on the list. Especially Sally Carrera, she was hot!
 Planes 1&2 and all the Toy Stories. I loved the Bugs Bunny cartoons as a kid. I was lucky that about the time Saturday morning cartoons lost interest for me was when the modern cartoons with pitiful animation of the character standing still and just their mouth going up and down was considered animation. I have never liked that style of cartoon. It is just cheating the viewer. I even got to see her in person!  She smiled for me.

5 Summer Stories ANIMATION-- iconic surf movie classic -- featuring animation by John Lamb. The segment used in the movie is from Rocket 88, a 5 1/2 minute surf cartoon that was complete but never finished. ..1975..The unedited film was finally assembled in somewhat
of an original sequential order after 30 years. However, it remains unedited and ROCKET 88 can be seen on You Tube with 2 different sound tracks, the math metal track being the favorite.

hate to be that guy (young whippersnapper!)
but i for one am happy we stepped up the game in Animation. the old school ones barely keep my attention anymore. Anime..Pixar, etc.
