Got a UST projector

Ultra short throw projector. I got the Optoma p2 and grand view screen. It 120” diagonal. It’s set up in the family room.

The granddaughter is over, so we are watching the smurfs.

Is the projector the white box on top of the stand? If so, WOW!

Very Nice!

I've got the VAVA with a 100" screen. It's amazing how quick you get used to the giant screen. I put my old 65" flat screen in the garage and it seems small. I bought a portable 150" screen for the backyard but I haven't had a chance to try it out there.

And it doesn’t need a light controlled room. It would be better, but still puts up a decent picture during the day. This is in the family room, lots of windows and open space.

I saw your setup when you posted it here. That got me looking into them. In the past I always had a home theater room in the house. The new house did not have a place for one.

So I went this route. My last 3 houses had home theater rooms and it really helped sell the house. But I had to always leave my equipment. But it let me upgrade to the newer stuff.

My family room has a 16' wide floor-to-ceiling window so I do get a fair amount of light in my TV room, fortunately it is North facing so no direct light.

The UST Projector has slight fading a couple of hours in the day but the picture quality in the evening and for much of the day is superb and as good if not better than my old 4k TV. I did buy an ambient light rejecting screen but it is still a little bit affected by bright light.

It's had to photo both day & night but this is basically how it looks:
