Want a Hummer ??

https://www.gmc.com/electric-truck/hummer-ev

claims are pretty wild - everything they list is feasible even the crabwalk but I'd expect this out of Porsche or Tesla

So I guess the real question is:

Is Mary Barra a goddess?

So the commercial said zero emissions. How do they figure that? The electricity that charges it comes from unicorn farts?

I don't hate it as much as I thought I would. 0-60 in 3 seconds, 1,000hp, 11,500 lb torque? Sounds fun.

The less powerful one is available 2024 for 79k USD.
Couldn't find dimensions or weight but it looks ginirmous and heavy enough to demolish every vehicle it hits and most structures too:ie the nut behind the wheel will be even more dangerous than usual .

Didn't read any of the specs. I hated the civilian versions of the Hummers but this looks cool. I thought GM sold the civilian version of Hummer to CHI-NA back when they went begging Obama for money?

Whats the range on a charge? Unless I live next to area that I am off roading this seems impractical. Of course at 120K these probably wont get dirty too often.

Interesting way for a rich guy to make a statement about how eco-friendly he is while also compensating. Also a nice bit of irony considering the previous Hummer was the poster child for big lumbering SUVs that get crappy MPG.

3 second 0-60 on all-terrain tires? With that much torque how do you keep from ripping the tread blocks off?

It's an interesting strategy by GM. Not something I am interested in.

I find it interesting that the sort of pickup/Ridgeline model is the only one shown in the video via first link posted.

Much better than a bread box.

Nah I think electric is ideal for off roading with infinitely controllable torque. I believe for electric (aka coal fired) cars the trick is gonna be charge time and mileage. Gm is advertising quite impressive figures in these respects.

The interior should come with eye bleach.

I want one after seeing the commercial, checked and the high end model reservations are already full in the US, we can’t even reserve one in Canada yet as they are 2 years out.

If there are hummers in heaven do you think they'll be electrified or the regular kind?
