^^ Wow, quite the picture!

I live in Houston and that kid who crashed his dad's Pagani has been widely discussed, many of my friends attended the same shows and he brought the Pagani down from Dallas where he lives inside an enclosed trailer that was basically clear, so that you can see the car through it. Wild stuff and incomprehensible levels of wealth and why a parent would give a teenager a car like that to drive is beyond me.

Two weeks ago, one mile from my house, there was a car meet and a 22-year old was showing off his new Camaro SS, did a drive by, lost control and killed three people. And the 22 year old is married with a 1-yr old baby and now has three manslaughter charges to deal with, lives all ruined.

I did dumb things as a teenager behind the wheel but my old Datsun only had 95-hp not 500-hp like all these Camaros, SRTs and Mustangs.

Yep, so many drivers think they can drive like Fast and Furious and run out of talent in under a second.

It is one major reason insuring a teenage boy is super expensive.

the parents could have fixed schit-for-brains - you don't let the kid get away with anything or think that wealth makes him better than others

he takes the trash out; mows the lawn, etc. if he wants any allowance

force him into ditch digging or McD's for a summer job at least one year too

That accident was exactly 3 miles east of my house. Sad. And they race many nights a week on the two streets on either side of my neighborhood.

Agreed, very sad.

But it appears we live about 2-miles apart, but yet have never met each other...we need to change that!
