The United States has millions more people living north of the southernmost tip of Canada than Canada has residents.

The southernmost part of Canada is south of Detroit...right?
That line would be below most of the eastern seaboard? And Oregon and Washington?

Middle Island I think is the most southern point in Canada.
It is more south in latitude than Crescent City in northern California.
