The problem is, this virus -to use your pissy analogy- is more like a fart than a piss, but you go ahead and think whatever simpleton thing you want, just know that your jeans wont stop your stinky farts.

I am an engineering geologist. I work on construction projects, and study landslides and earthquake faults, etc.

Anyway, we geologists have a way of looking at empirical, approximate data and then making judgement calls, rather than relying on precise formulas, etc. Especially when there's so much uncertainty on a scientific topic. That's why I value some of the empirical raw data on the effectiveness of masks. There; we're back on topic.

No article at the link, just a graph of something.
No, we should not rely on raw data. Data has to be reported in context, and it's collection methods and limits of accuracy need to be included. They don't call it "raw" for nothing.

Wow that's a lot of butt-hurt.

We all come here to share information.

What exactly to you add to this world?

Seems that all you share is your hate.

You know island I wrote a pretty sharp response to you and posted it. But after a few minutes I went back and deleted it. You're not changing no matter what me or anyone else says.

I'm not going to engage.

Let's see... U say: "You're not changing no matter what me or anyone else says."
and then;
"Here I was trying to be civil"

So then a "civil" insult hurled my way?

IOW, if that is you trying to be civil... Try harder. And remember, you are the one who saw an opportunity to pile on with your bullet-point list of insults.

But at least you had zero retort to my on-topic points.

There are also several books detailing the use or non-use of masks during historical pandemics. If you read them, note that spread of different viruses or bacteria can differ widely. Covid19 isn't weaponized anthrax, but it isn't norovirus either.

Expect more books in the future...
