Her kick off went about 25 yards. If it was a live situation and some steroid crazed player flattened her we would never hear the end of it. Even during practice her extra point attempts were kicked from the 3 and not the 10 as in game situations and they barely cleared the crossbar.

This was nothing more than a stunt.

I haven't but I've won a California state championship and played a lot of soccer, even in England. (College team, certainly not Premier League) That was a very disappointing kick. I've seen plenty of women send goal kicks well past midfield. She messed up the kick, yet was praised. If I'm a dickhead for seeing some humor there, then I'm a dickhead. Oh well.

Well, it's easy to see who here is a little insecure in their manliness. LOL! She obviously put the ball where she intended to. Didn't want to show the boys up on her first try.

She's kicking again this week. Hope she puts one thru the uprights and gets to make a tackle. She's 6' 2" and pretty strong. Bigger, stronger than most male kickers. Kickers aren't football players anyway.

“That was designed for her because that’s what she’s used to striking. We tried to go with the most natural kicks in her arsenal. Tried not to overcoach her but let her do and understand what felt comfortable to her and that’s what we went with. I thought she punched it just like she needed to, balls down at the 35-yard line, let’s go.”

I tried to find a video of her kicking a soccer ball but couldn't find any. I saw her in the SEC tournament and she looked pretty good. Maybe she should punt too.

I just wonder what is going to happen the first time she is part of a kickoff and has to run down the field and gets a slobber knocker block or at a field goal she gets flattened by a defensive player.

If the team really has no kicker any better than her, put her in. I just hope some superior male kicker is not sitting on the bench just to let her play. If she is the best, fine.
