You've got to do what you've got to do. Kudos to him for getting it done.

Need more info here. A Leopard has to be at least twice as strong as an average man.

The only way a man can kill a leopard with his bare hands is the leopard was nearly dead already, or with a gun in his bare hands.

Maybe if he was lucky and had a large knife. Humans have killed a bear with just a knife. I don't want to try it.

That cat looked pretty small. Maybe it was a juvenile that had been separated from mom and was starving.

Exactly my thoughts.

As a rule, I never ef with stuff than can eat me or do serious bodily damage. Includes such things as bears, snakes, wolverines, badgers, large cats.....

You couldn't kill a house cat with your hands without paying dearly for it.

If that leopard was healthy it would be a lightning fast ball of angry fury, with snapping teeth and whirring claws... No way a man could control it or kill it.

Although, that guy in Ft. Collings did kill a mountain lion with his bare hands, so he says.

"Man kills rogue leopard with bare hands"

Thought this was going to be about a certain forum member killin' it with the rogue leopard print jeans he picked up this weekend with his bare hands.

A few years ago I watched a documentary about wildlife living in rural areas of America. A couple from Denver had caught and restrained a Cougar that had wandered onto their property. The guy lost the tip of his thumb and got scratched up really bad but otherwise everything worked out OK. The Cougar was taken away by the wildlife control people... I have a lot of respect for that couple. They could have killed the Cougar but chose not to.
