I don’t think I’ve been this excited to see the last race of the season in the 40+ years I’ve been an F1 fan. My hope is for Max but my money is on Lewis.

Differing tire strategies make this interesting. Ham can drive the snot out of meds, and the softs are supposed to wear well, too. All I can say is Bottas needs to be a good #2 for Merc, and get into podium position. Then they can seal the WCC.

Bottas performs the perfect #2 role. Perez has not done well that for Max.

Battle of the back markers ......... Mazepin tested positive for Covid and won't be starting the race . Will test driver Fittipaldi start the race instead ?

Interesting call by the stewards regarding Max/Lewis . I have to say I am puzzled by their call .

I think Lewis should have to give the spot back. VER was ahead in the race to the apex at that point.

I thought Max would catch Lewis. 18 or 19 laps, 13-second gap. I thought he could do it. But Lewis making his tires last.
