Why bother? I've got receivers I bought from dealers, I have receivers I've bought from individuals w/o paperwork. Do you think that if they come to empty your safe they'll leave one 'cause it has no number? Or leave uppers or anything else? Even 2 years ago a 80% cost as much or more than a finished receiver... I can see the appeal IF you are a machinist type person. But then you could be building a bolt action or whatever else as well.
