How do you say thank you?

We were recommended by a restoration shop to a collection and just completed the work. Other than a nice phone call, how do you say thank you?

Send the shop a catered buffet lunch.

Doesn't have to be fancy, some trays of good solid comfort food and sides.

Food is always good.

I could send you two boxes of those little oranges next year and you could give one to them.

A gift basket from Harry and David's. Or a food hamper from Dean and DeLuca.

I would not skimp on it.

Well you can start by not calling someone retarded and then asking for advice about being nice.

Sometimes a "thank you" is all that is needed. I get worried when people pile it on.

Of course you can always survey your recent customer.

"Is there anything that we missed or could do better in your estimation?"

"We'd love to work on any future projects if we've earned your repeat business."

and so on.

This I like quite a lot, thank you. The restoration shop referrer is in MA, the collection is in FL.

I want to do something high class. A very nice bottle of bourbon for the parts manager is a must I think.

I agree that a phone call thank you is an important part of this.

It was a custom plating job for a 906, zinc that would look like it was done in 1967, collection loved it including the owner. They are already sending more.

I get these from customers and they are beautiful. Definitely one of those things you would never buy yourself but love it when you get it.

For me, it would start with a nice "Thank You" card with a handwritten personalized expression of your appreciation.

Anything after that would come in secondary in value, no matter what it is.

You could also include a gift card. Maybe from somewhere that has good food - take out or delivery.

Your in Massachusetts.... send em an ounce of weed or some gummies

seriously, find out who the popular lunch place is in their area and send them some lunch

vendors used to do this for us at my last job which had 280 or so employees....it was quite fun to see about 300 subs with enough chips for 300 people arrive

or sometimes 100 large pizzas would show up.... fun times
