Good Times father character James, Goeorge Jefferson, The parents of Michael J Fox on Family Ties some how having hippy flash backs during the awesome 80's killed it for me. Michael Stivic and Gloria on All and the family, two irritating hippies. Jean Luc Picard, dude put a wig on. John Cleese on Monty Python, funny on Faulty Towers, but arrogant on Monty. Any cast member on the uk series Chef. The whole acting crew of the new Battle Star Galactica, Human Cylons? Cmon Man! More like cheaping out on the costumes. Hated the whole crew of Deep Space Nine, life on a space station, Whats the point? Bill Bixby on My favorite Martin, he was good on the Hulk, stunk on the Martian. The whole stinking cast of That 70's show, I think I saw 4 or 5 episodes of it and hand to hit the remote. The list is never finished, good topic though...

Todd's father on Gold Rush.

The father and son on Dessert Car Classics.

I know...John Cheese? Wow.

Interesting thread, intereting insight.

For me it is Marshall Dillon: The fact that he never bent Miss Kitty over his desk made me lose all respect for him.

I am a simple man.

John Wayne in any role. Always the same flat character.

sc_rufctr 03-27-2021 07:53 AM

"Frank Burns" from Mash and "George" from Seinfeld. Both were annoying and stupid.

Ms Hathaway from the 'Beverly Hillbillies."

Nancy Kulp... Actually a good actress with an interesting history.

I had to search the whole thread, I can't believe nobody pointed out it was Milburn Drysdale.

Any anonymous red shirt on Star Trek who beamed down to the planet.
Why not just kill them in the transporter room and save having to recover the body.

Joe Bob 03-27-2021 10:34 AM

Why couldn't they reconstitute the body alive back up on the ship like the food synthesizer?

Among many others, these come to mind...

Carl Grimes from The Walking Dead

Janice Soprano from The Sopranos

Alan Harper from Two and a Half Men

Nope...he came in a close second to Jane Hathaway.:D

stevej37 03-27-2021 12:19 PM

Alan Harper was ok, to me, the part he had to play as Charlies brother was a tough part to take.

Bernadette....I have a hard time understanding what she is saying...otherwise ok.

Yeah..I've heard that she did. I just didn't care for her character on BH...the only one that was great was Elly Mae! (and not for her acting)

But I have to disagree with you on George....He carried that show.
Seinfeld never would have grown like it did without him.

bkreigsr 03-27-2021 12:42 PM

Robert Culp in just about anything, but especially in any of the Colombo episodes.

Also Robert Conrad in anything, again especially the Colombo reruns.
