When I was a kid, I'd usually spend a few weeks during the summer visiting my aunt and uncle in CT. For my uncle Andy, watching Gunsmoke was a near-religious experience. No one could speak to him or make any noise in the room while it was on.

Another of my least-favorite TV characters was Roseanne Conner from Roseanne.

They remade Hawaii 50 but it was a dud imo.
I tried watching through it but that Cann character just continued to have a face that says "punch me".
Ruined it.
