Listen to the judges response to this. Even the judge knows that when it hits appeals that it'll be overturned....

Good God no. I'm just saying you guys in the US are in the habit of protecting cops from justice, I'm just saying this guy is guilty - throw him to the mob.

Self defence laws around here state "The common law defence of self-defence applies where the defendant uses necessary, reasonable and proportionate force to defend themselves or another from imminent attack.". and I'm sure you guys are much the same. So someone should have blasted this POS in the face to save Mr. Floyd's life.

Maybe your definition of "throw under the bus" (your phrase) is different than mine.
If he is guilty then punish him. IMO that's called justice and not throwing under the bus.
DON'T crucify an innocent man to appease a blood thirsty mob.

But my point is he's guilty. Hit him with the full extent of the law. throw him under the bus to show the potential rioters that he's not being looked after because he's a cop.

This just shows violent rioting works to force political change and influence courts/policing...and encourages more of the same terrorist activities.

The unarmed "insurrection" and "coup" where no one was killed except by police...but so many elderly fat people were locked up for "trespassing" (and are still held without bail)? That one? How are they similar?

Is Congresswoman Maxine Waters out on the street trying to stir up a riot to influence their trials too?

Is that the one where the cop was killed with the fire extinguisher, or is it the same one where the unarmed veteran was killed by the unnamed cop?

Arizona_928 04-20-2021 09:08 PM

The fire extinguisher was fake news

My comment from the PARF thread...

No one should be surprised by this result.

- IMO By finding him guilty of everything the Jury kicked the problem down the road.

What would you have done if you were on this Jury?

Only if you believe Chauvin not guilty of the unintentional death of floyd. I know even you understand that not nearly everybody falls into that camp.

Do we know what evidence the jury was presented to make their decision? I’m sure it was not the same narrative that is in the MSM.

How did they find an impartial jury for this? Was that even possible?

Watch the video Chauvin's knee was not on Floyds neck.

You either need glasses or an anatomy lesson.

Yes. The trial was televised in its entirety.

I imagine it was pretty hard to find an impartial jury as most had been impacted by riots last year and they were not sequestered while the media and politicians railed about the trial. The trial should have been moved elsewhere and the jury sequestered.

Under cross examination, the prosecution witnesses testified that it was not on his neck but on the shoulder blade (and was exactly as in their policy and training) as they were shown photos from body cams from almost every angle throughout the confrontation. Maybe you should give them your "lesson."

To throw some one under the bus means that the bus is stuck in the muck and a person has their body used to gain traction so the bus can move on.

No, that’s not what it means. Nobody uses that definition.

They must have learned it from the Trumpers on January 6.
