Not possible!
That race car is not OBD2, so Allstate would not know about hard braking, speeding or late night trips.

I am guessing you know that because you built the car , or are you making an assumption?

That is not even in the top 500 list of dumb commercials with no basis in reality whatsoever.

All marketing.
Allstate discounts are so attractive race car drivers will not hit the gas even in front of full grandstands. Consumer is lead to believe perhaps this will destroy all racing. If I hate or don't approve of racing this spot makes sense. If I get pissed at every car that passes me on the freeway this is helpful. The slow driver made $50 in a quarter mile, good money for rolling over on your belly. lol |

I bet those things just pull power off of pin #16 in the OBD2 array and do the rest in the plug in box.

Can someone design an OBD2 port for our cars that powers up and supplies a signal that says we never brake hard, never accelerate hard, and never drive after 4:00 pm?

A tale of 2 OBD2 boxes.
80 Year old lady - Barely touches gas, uses brakes lightly, never takes a turn over 15 mph = great insurance discounts. 25 year old woman - has to emergency brake because 80 year old lady above pulled out in front of her without looking and never touched the gas to get out of the way = insurance hit. Edit - I refer you to Baz's video he posted from his Volvo, he had to hit his brakes hard and dive for the side of the road, the moron leaving the stop sign drives into his lane gently and gets an insurance break because the other person is the safe driver.

I have been looking for that OBD2 port on my 911 for 26 years. I still can't find it.

There are separate GPS devices that they put on the rear view mirror and they connect to your phone via BT. No OBD port needed.
