do you like fitness gadgets?

It's not something I would want...but this thing is kinda cool.
Expensive and a monthly download fee.
They've been for sale a few months now....Anyone buy one yet?

The amount of fitness equipment at yard sales always makes me laugh.

No. I'm happy with a pull up bar, simple bench, dumbbells, and a barbell.

My wife is constantly trying to get me to join her doing yoga so I may have to add an extra large yoga mat. After last week's Morning Yoga Routine thread, I'm a little more interested

When the gal in the video fires up her 'Mirror'....there are a row of widgets on the lower part showing which workouts she has downloaded.

What does the one with the 'PH' mean?

Nope! My wife loves these things and we have owned a stepper, treadmill, rower, static bike etc. personally I don’t like any of em. I walk 3 mi outdoors, ride a bike, pushups, sit ups, crunches, and some moderate free weights. That is all besides being generally active.

Covid had us missing the gym, so worked on converting basement space. Treadmill, bike, traditional sauna and some weights. Had it all in place Jan 15th and only missed about 10 days since. down 16 lbs. too old for the new gimmicks but do love the bike and sauna everyday.

My fitness gadget. There is a monthly cost, but it varies.

I like the Peleton bike. seems like it would be good to have a group mentality while being at home.

I started with a Nordic Trak that my neighbor gave me in 1994 or 95. After using it a few times I understood why he gave it away, and I passed it on.
I got a treadmill, but then started running outside which was way more fun so I got rid of the treadmill.
I had to stop running when I had the joints in my toes replaced, so I got a Concept II rower that I really, really liked.
Had to stop using the rower due to the arthritis in my back.
My back keeps me from walking more than a couple of miles a day so I got a stationary recumbent bike.
The gadgets I have now are the bike, some weights, and an inversion table and I get along well with them.
The best workouts I had were being out on the road running alone, good weather, bad weather - it made no difference, I was out every day. People wanted me to run with them, but I was happier alone.
For a healthy person I would recommend a Concept II over anything else I've seen. You can get a great workout at whatever pace you choose, from loafing along to making the walls shake. I have a feeling a lot of those expensive electronic gadgets are going to end up at garage sales.

These are different from the old mechanical machines.
Just download the type of workout you want...it's there.
Any type that you want...just download it.

If you have a stationary bike...download the same as Peloton.

Everything shown so far is kids play fitness....

Man up and try a Jacobs Ladder. I swear every time I use mine it is trying to kill me. It works every part of your body at once and is brutal.
